Crisis is the UK national charity for single homeless people, dedicated to ending homelessness by delivering life-changing services and campaigning for change.
With ambitious plans for the future, the Crisis team are committed to help more people in more places across the UK.
Among their many projects, Crisis offers a variety of activities for homeless people and the general public with their Skylight centres in London and Manchester. Also in London, Crisis runs the Skylight Cafe, at 64 Commercial Street – offering a route into work for homeless people.
During Christmas time, December 23-30, Crisis open seven centres offering homeless or vulnerably housed people companionship, access to essential service, learning opportunities and entertainment.
Crisis also provides free courses and study support for homeless people in many subjects, that lead to an accredited qualification and their Crisis Changing Live Awards provide grants of up to £2500 to help homeless people move towards a work-based, vocational goal.
Crisis offer so much for the people who need it most.
